You can really build your relationships with stakeholders through INOVEM Connect. The customisable Stakeholder Database enables you to build a valuable knowledgebase that develops over time, recording stakeholders' participation and building your understanding of their specific interests.

The People Finder allows you to mine the information stored in your community databases ? not only user profiles but also their past involvement ? to identify who to invite to participate in new discussion forums or networks. Members can pre-register their interests, and managers can quickly populate new communities with profile-matched candidates.

All content, such as documents and discussions, is indexed for Community Search by type, date, originator or other categories. A familiar interface searches within or across communities, with fuzzy matching and result scoring. This helps new community or forum members to get up to speed quickly.

Setting up online communities

It only takes a few minutes to Create a New Community. The customisable, brandable Community Home Page is the 'shop window' of each community. Create your own navigation, menus and guidance notes to suit the interest group or forum composition using Community Folders.

Easy-to-use Community Management tools make it straightforward to set up, manage, facilitate and moderate your communities, control access, membership, functionality and content delivery.

Building your network

Community members can be asked to complete a quick and easy User Registration form ? which you can customise to your own requirements ? and manage their own User Profile.

A personal My Communities page and tailored Email Alerts help stakeholders get maximum value from their involvement and manage notifications.

The user-maintained Stakeholder Database can be searched to Invite Community Members based on their interests and/or previous involvement in related communities or discussion forums.

Interested parties can search for public communities they might want to join, using the Community Finder where they can browse the category hierarchy. You can choose whether new members can simply sign in to a community, or apply to the community manager for membership. The service equally allows for open public access to information or anonymous feedback if required.

Keeping people informed

Any time a community manager adds or changes content they have an option to Send a Notification which helps stimulate debate and feedback. All responses, whether by email or via the website, are automatically threaded and stored in context for future reference.

Users can choose whether they want to receive instant email notifications, get periodic summaries or just browse new content via the What's New button.

Managers can easily upload, organise and version-control Documents, create Web Pages using the simple HTML web editor, provide useful Web Links to external resources, and create and share Image Albums with previews and thumbnails.

Use multiple Calendars to coordinate, manage, advertise and send out reminders on meetings, events and key dates. Schedule repeating events for auto-remind, and allow members to add events to their Microsoft© Outlook or other desktop calendar.

Facilitating discussion and getting feedback

Discussion Forums enable community managers or members to submit issues and ideas, either via the site or directly by email. Full or partial filtering and moderation options are provided to help you keep contributions focused.

Quickly create simple Questionnaires for formal or informal surveys with open or multi-choice questions and conditional branching. Add HTML guidance notes, set close dates, automatically generate Summary Graphs and export results to a CSV file.

You can easily build a Structured Document in HTML, segmenting and selecting parts of the document for users to Make Comments against.

You can also insert survey questions and configure the fields for your feedback form. You have the option to let respondents upload supporting documents. Members can update their own comments and, if authorised, View Comments of others.

With full control, you can manage and moderate feedback; decide if approved comments are made public, thank users for their submissions by email, automatically Collate Comments by document section for review and analysis, Search Comments and export by date, keyword, contributor, document part or identifier.

Without the need for specialist knowledge, online Databases can be quickly built from scratch, or from pre-defined templates, using custom fields to support a wide-range of data recording applications. User-defined evaluated fields and search forms enhance reporting and information retrieval.

How to buy

INOVEM Connect is available as a hosted service, or can be installed as software on your own network. No software downloads are required ? users only need a standard web browser.

Licences are available to cover single, up to five or unlimited communities and Small, Medium, Large or Unlimited numbers of members. Community members can be easily upgraded to membership of INOVEM Collaborate groups.

Set up

INOVEM Inclusionware has been designed to be easy to obtain, set up and use.

Set-up services include the creation of your INOVEM Connect website, customisation of your stakeholder database and adaptation to your online identity and stylesheets. Consultancy support is provided to help you configure the product to your specific requirements and launch initial communities.


As well as integrating seamlessly with your preferred email system(s), INOVEM Connect can be integrated with your back-office systems and other preferred applications through APIs and web services.


On-site training is available for product owners and community managers to get you started and make sure you get the best out of your system. Further training is available on request, but mostly INOVEM users train each other, because it's that easy to use.
