INOVEM's cloud collaboration and consultation products have been accepted onto the UK's first ever G-Cloud Services Framework Agreement.
London, UK, February 19th 2012 - Launched today, the UK Government CloudStore will make it a lot easier for public sector organisations to purchase INOVEM's suite of Inclusionware products on a pay-per-use basis. The agreement signed between INOVEM and the Government Procurement Service, makes both INOVEM Consult and INOVEM Collaborate available as an assured Software-as-a-Service (SaaS).
The availability of INOVEM Consult within the CloudStore is very timely, as online consultation has been identified as a priority in the Cabinet Office’s recent ICT implementation plan. Already used by many central government departments, local authorities and health trusts, the service makes it easy for organisations to effectively manage, capture, analyse and report on consultation responses made via interactive online surveys, comments against document sections and online discussion forums.
PAY-PER-USE CLOUD APPS SEEN AS THE WAY AHEAD
In response to the G-Cloud invitation for collaboration software, INOVEM Collaborate provides a rich set of functionality to enable teams, departments, and organisations to securely share information and work together better. The benefit of the CloudStore's pay-per-use model is that online workspaces can be quickly created to support anything from a few users to the entire enterprise, with no upfront capital investment. Users can tailor and purpose workspaces to support a range of business applications because real online collaboration can offer so much more than simple file and task sharing.
Peter Jackson, INOVEM's Managing Director, remarked "The CloudStore launch is a major milestone for everyone involved in public sector procurement, both for those buying cloud services and for those providing them. We are proud to be playing an active part in what we believe is a truly innovative procurement service that is certain to be copied by governments world-wide."
INOVEM READY TO BUILD ON PAST SUCCESSES
With regard to the INOVEM services accepted into the CloudStore, Peter added "Although our software has proven its value time-after-time since it was first used by the UK public sector some 9 years ago, we now have an opportunity to leverage our well-deserved reputation for delivering value-for-money services and excellent client support."
Because all businesses, and the public sector in particular, have a duty to support web accessibility, INOVEM's software is tested to exceed WCAG 2.0 level AA and can be branded to seamlessly match an organisation's corporate web site.
